2018年7月22-30日东华大学纺织学院蒋金华、王洪、刘燕平和刘夙4人前往英国利兹参加了91届世界纺织大会，在曼彻斯特参加了第十一届纺织生物工程及信息国际会议。
因台风影响，蒋金华等4人于7月23日中午抵达英国曼彻斯特，并入住酒店短暂休息后，然后下午从曼彻斯特乘火车到达利兹大学。

2018.7.24 在利兹大学，上午：参加TIWC2018世界纺织大会，听大会主题报告和专题交流报告。听取，大会主席Prof. Chris Carr欢迎词，听取Katie Greenyer教授的主题报告《The Textile Institute World President, Future proofing our Textile Institute》，美国Cornell University大学范金土教授主题报告《Recent Advances In Smart and Multi-Functional Fibrous Materials and Clothing》，Nick Chiarelli教授的《Foresight Factory, Integrating design with sustainable technology》等。并参加四个分论坛Innovations For Natural Fibres、Functional Textiles、Technical Textiles、Design, Fashion and Retail的专题会议。

2018.7.24，下午：参加TIWC2018世界纺织大会，参加Innovations for Natural Fibres、Functional Textiles、Technical Textiles等会议分论坛，听取学术和工业界专家报告，例如加拿大Ikra Shuvo《A new generation of textile fibre from canolabiomass and the impact of cultivar on fibre quality》、英国诺丁汉大学Achala Satharasinghe《Optical sensing textile yarn for wearable electronics》、德国德累斯顿大学Moniruddoza Ashir《Textile technical integration of shape memory alloys into reinforcing fabrics for the development of adaptive pleated fiber-reinforced plastics》、香港理工大学Ning Jiang《Tubular braids with tuneable Poisson's ratio》等。我校代表刘夙老师也做了关于《The influence of structural variation for resistance of conductive knitted fabrics》的报告。

2018.7.26 早晨乘火车离开利兹往曼彻斯特，上午：抵达曼彻斯特大学，参加TBIS 2018 会议注册报到及大会开幕式，听取大会主题报告，如美国Prof. Marian McCord《Insect-bite Protective Clothing》、法国Prof. Vladan Koncar《Predictive Medicine Concept – Real Time Permanent Integrated Monitoring Health System》、香港Prof. Zijian Zheng《Fibre-enabled High-performance Wearable Energy Storage Devices》等。

Kanji Kajiwar《Recycled Car bon Fiber》等，听取我校会议代表做口头报告《Differentiating Natural and Synthetic Indigo Dye》等；我校代表王府梅老师也做了关于《New Method for Measuring the Thermal Sensation and Insulation Proper ties of Clothing》的报告、曾咏春老师做了《Fabrication of Helical Micro/nanofibers via Electrospinning and Melt Blowing》的报告、蒋金华老师做了《Deform Behavior and Shear Rigidity of Warp Knitted Fabrics under Bias Extension Test》的报告。

2018.7.27 在曼彻斯特大学，上午参加TBIS 2018会议，听大会主题报告，例如美国Pr of. Roger Barker《How Systematic Product Design and Leading Edge Testing Technologies are Influencing the Development and Use of Advanced Technical Textiles》、日本Prof. Masayuki Takatera《Key Points of Clothing Design Toward Fashion Engineering》等。下午参加TBIS 2018会议的专题报告会，听取分论坛报告，如捷克Prof.Jiří Militký《Preparation of Hybrid Tapes for Fabrication of Composites》、曼彻斯特大学Prof.Liu Xuqi《Alginate/Graphene Oxide Fibers with Enhanced Electrical Conductivity》等。我校代表刘燕平老师也做了关于《Differentiating Natural and Synthetic Indigo Dye》的口头报告、胡吉永老师做了关于《Structure design and spinning technology of the all-cotton stretch yarn for stretchable denim》的报告。

2018.7.28 在曼彻斯特大学，上午在曼切斯特大学纺织系进行技术交流访问，与曼彻斯特大学李翼教授课题组进行技术交流，与Xu-Qing Liu博士就纺织智能可穿戴、纳米复合材料、功能纺织品表面处理、石墨烯在纺织及材料中的应用等方面进行了深入的交流，并听取了Liu博士关于《Fibre Surface Molecular Engineering for Functional Textiles》的技术报告。下午，在Liu博士的安排下参观了曼彻斯特纺织材料实验室等。

2018.7.29 上午蒋金华等4人乘火车离开曼彻斯特大学，到达曼彻斯特机场，并乘坐飞机返回，于2018.7.30上午抵达上海浦东机场
世界纺织大会（TIWC 2018），素有“纺织业奥运会”之称，世界纺织大会一直由英国纺织协会组织，每年由不同国家或地区的成员单位承办。本届大会重点关注纺织材料的创新和发开，作为世界纺织领域的一项高水平、高层次的国际会议，世界纺织大会将吸引世界各国、各地区纺织服装界的高等院校、科研院所、相关企业和咨询机构的专家、学者及企业家的关注和积极参与，推进世界纺织业的发展。本次由英国纺织学会（TI）主办的第91届世界纺织大会，来自美国、英国、中国、德国、新西兰、印度、土耳其、日本等20多个国家和地区的400多名纺织学术权威专家、产业界代表聚首英国利兹大学。在TIWC 2018会议期间，通过团队在大会上做邀请口头报告和墙报展示报告，会议期间与利兹大学纺织学院展开了交流和参观实验室。此次参会，向国际同行交流了我们的最新研究成果，并了解国际同行的最新研究方向及成果，提升我们研究工作的创新性，同时展示东华大学纺织学院纺织学科交叉的科研成果，加强与该领域专家的国际合作，吸引高层次的人才和优秀毕业生来东华工作交流和深入合作，推进双一流学科建设，提升东华大学在该领域的影响力。
TBIS大会每年在世界各地举办，是纺织领域具有重要影响力的国际学术会议之一。其旨在提供学术平台，促进各国学者在先进材料领域上的前沿科学技术交流。今年有来自22个国家的学者向该会议投递摘要300多篇，参会人数有400多人。此次能够参加该会议，加强了东华大学纺织学院在先进纺织材料领域的国际地位，展示了相关课题组在先进纺织品方面的最近科研成果，加强与该领域专家的国际合作，提升了东华大学在该领域的国际影响力。
